Published since 1994, DIVA was given a new lease of life when it was acquired by Linda Riley and Silke Bader in July 2016.
Linda is the former publisher of several LBT titles and the founder of diversity events including the British LGBT Awards, the Diversity Careers Show, the Alternative Family Show, the European Diversity Awards, the Diversity in Media Awards and several other high-profile initiatives. She is a Patron of the Albert Kennedy Trust, Action Breaks Silence and Diversity Role Models and is board member of GLAAD.
Silke is the publisher of LOTL , Australia's only lesbian magazine, and Curve, the best-selling US lesbian magazine. She sits on the board of Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, and is a founding director of LOTL Rescue, an animal welfare charity (trading as Zambi Wildlife Retreat) in Sydney.
As well as owning and publishing DIVA, Linda and Silke have recently launched the Australian LGBTI Awards, with the inaugural event taking place at Sydney Opera House in March 2017.
Radio Diva is the first – but probably not the last – foray into the world of broadcast media for Linda, Silke and their team.
